We know that skin naturally regenerates at night and that it’s generally the best time to offer it all the nutrients that we can provide. We knew that we wanted to create a night mask with repairing and anti-aging properties, for all those of you that dream of waking up to smoother, more luminous and super hydrated skin. That’s everybody, right? How did we do that? By providing the skin with molecules that mimic its own naturally generated oils, and, of course, with an incredible cocktail of ingredients. Here’s all you need to know about this mask. It is a squalane night face mask and contains 2% of this natural emollient with moisturizing and antioxidant properties. It’s a substance naturally found in the hydrolipidic mantle of our skin.

The second star ingredient is bakuchiol, which you might have already heard of. The beauty-spewer refers to is a vegan retinol (although you can rest assured; the retinol in our other retinol products is always 100% vegan) because it is proven to garner very similar benefits; it prevents and signs of aging such as fine lines of expression and improves the general quality of the skin: uneven tone, texture, brightness... However, bakuchiol, , which comes from the extracts of an Indian plant used in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, a practice called Babchi or Psoralea corylifolia, is not photosensitizing and does not irritate skin, making it the perfect anti-aging active for sensitive skin and even for pregnant women. Its formula is completed with 2% of niacinamide or provitamin B3, an ingredient that illuminates the skin, fights against oxidative stress and protects the skin’s barrier function, and 0.5% of hyaluronic acid, a percentage 5 times higher than the standard, to deeply hydrate the skin, preserve hydration and result in a more plump effect throughout the day. It also contains fig and pomegranate extracts, oriental fruits that are commonly associated with beauty and that have been processed at a low temperature to prevent their beneficial properties from being damaged. They help to protect our skin from free radicals that accelerate the signs of aging. This squalane mask also contains derivatives of vitamin C and E, two vitamins that work wonderfully together: vitamin E helps stabilize vitamin C and alleviate skin sensitivity after exposure to the sun.
