As the name suggests, House of Dohwa uses rice bran as the main ingredient in its Rice Bran range. Traditionally used in Korean skincare, this ancient ingredient has powerful hydrating and brightening properties.
We love Rice Bran Powder Wash because it’s a very effective cleanser with a quirky format you don’t often see. This powder emulsifies on contact with water to create a foam that gently exfoliates the skin, purifying and removing dirt and impurities to leave it soft and radiant, without irritation. If you have dull, rough or flaky skin, you NEED this in your routine.
The key ingredient in this water-based powder cleanser is rice bran, an active ingredient featuring a cocktail of vitamins, fatty acids, minerals and over 100 different types of antioxidants, including vitamin E and ferulic acid. It softens and brightens the skin while regulating sebum production, as well as providing nourishing and hydrating properties. No wonder it’s so popular in Asian skincare!
Rice Bran Powder Wash comes in a cute little bottle that may look small at first glance, but a little goes a long way. This formula can be used both in the morning and evening. Pour a small amount of powder into the palm of your hand and emulsify with warm water to create the lather you’re looking for. Gently massage over your face with your fingertips to exfoliate and cleanse your skin. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
