What is gel cleanser?

Gel facial cleansers are skincare products designed to deeply cleanse your skin. They usually have a gel-like texture, which can vary between thick and runny depending on the formula, making them super easy to apply. They produce a foam on contact with water, which you then massage over your face to remove dirt, traces of make-up, excess oil and impurities.

Gel facial cleansers are suitable for various skin types and will be your greatest ally when it comes to maintaining a healthy complexion.

How many times a day can you use facial cleansing gel?

Over-cleansing can actually damage your skin, so we recommend cleansing your face no more than twice a day. Ideally, you should use a gentle cleansing gel in the morning and opt for a purifying cleansing gel in the evening for a more thorough double cleanse.

Remember: cleansing your face shouldn’t irritate, dry out, or leave your skin feeling tight.

In which order should you cleanse your face with a gel cleanser?

Facial cleansing gel is used as a water-based cleanser in the second step of your double-cleansing routine. So, apply your cleansing oil or make-up remover first, followed by your gel cleanser. This will ensure an effective cleanse, as you’ll remove any residue from your oil-based cleanser.

MiiN’s advice: apply a hydrating and nourishing toner to pamper your skin after double cleansing.
