Since every skin is different, here is the Calming Liquid Mild, by Cosrx — the perfect toner to soothe oily and acne-prone skin that is also sensitive. Are you looking for something a little more intense to treat your acne? The Calming Liquid Intensive is the one for you, then!

The brand has created this toner for all those oily and acne-prone skins in need of a slightly stronger treatment. Don't worry if you have sensitive skin — just like its milder version, it helps revitalise the skin and reverse the damage caused by the pimples, thanks to the CentellAC-Rx complex (developed by the brand), which contains three amazing soothing and restorative ingredients, all of which are derived from centella asiatica: asiatic acid, madecassic acid and madecassoside. It also contains 60% propolis extracts —its main ingredient— to heal the skin and keep it hydrated, as well as zinc to reduce inflammation and soothe even cystic acne. In order to regulate excess sebum and brighten the tone of the skin, Cosrx has added glycolic and lactic acids (AHAs) and Betaine Salicylate (a type of BHA). It also contains panthenol (or pro-vitamin B5), which is soothing, restorative and moisturising; hyaluronic acid to prevent the skin from losing moisture; and tea tree oil, an excellent ingredient to treat pimples and regulate excess sebum. The alcohol that you'll see in its ingredient list is of plant origin, and can do wonders for oily and acne-prone skin.

Do you think your skin needs something a little milder? Check out this other toner from the brand. You may also be interested in the rest of the AC Collection line: the water-based cleanser, the moisturising lotion and the localised spot treatment.

This toner is still suitable for oily and acne-prone skin, but, thanks to the power of the AHAs and BHAs it contains, it gently exfoliates the skin — and we love that!

Spread a small amount of the toner on your fingers and dab it over your face. Avoid wiping the product! If you prefer, you can use a cotton pad, although Korean women would never do so. And there's an explanation for this: with a cotton pad we tend to wipe the product, and we unnecessarily waste pads and more of the product, as it sticks to the cotton. What's more, if the product is placed on our fingers before application, we help it have a temperature more similar to our body's.
