The first step of a good routine doesn’t have to leave your skin tight or greasy! innisfree’s Green Tea Amino Acid Cleansing Oil is designed to deeply cleanse while keeping the skin barrier balanced (goodbye tightness!).
Its base contains Jeju Beauty Green Tea™, innisfree’s signature extract, rich in amino acids and antioxidants. This ingredient not only hydrates but also helps protect skin from daily stress and maintain comfort after cleansing. It’s combined with an amino acid complex that acts as a humectant and gentle co-surfactant, improving the oil’s emulsification with water and reducing friction during cleansing.
The formula includes five lightweight botanical oils, such as green tea seed and jojoba oils. These oils dissolve stubborn makeup, sunscreen, and impurities without leaving a greasy feeling. Upon contact with water, it transforms into a milky texture that rinses off easily, leaving skin clean, flexible, and comfortable.
The best part? It spreads easily, doesn’t irritate, and rinses quickly, with a gentle formula. It’s perfect if you wear makeup daily, use very resilient SPF, or simply want to cleanse your skin without compromising the barrier.
In a Korean routine, it works as the first step in double cleansing, followed by a foaming cleanser, like innisfree’s Green Tea Amino Acid Cleansing Foam. Note: it also works as a lip and eye makeup remover, including waterproof makeup, just leave it on for a few seconds before emulsifying to dissolve pigments more effectively.

If you purchase multiple products, we recommend not incorporating them all at once into your routine. Every skin is unique, and to properly assess tolerance, it's important to introduce the products gradually. This allows you to observe how your skin reacts to each one and ensure that the ingredients are well accepted. Avoiding abrupt changes in your routine helps prevent potential irritations or adverse reactions.
With dry hands and face, dispense two to three pumps of oil and gently massage your face and neck for 30 to 60 seconds. Wet your hands and continue cleansing until the oil turns milky (very important to emulsify the cleansing oil!).
Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry. If double cleansing, follow with a foaming cleanser.
Use it every night; in the morning, only if you notice residue from occlusive products. For waterproof mascara, leave the oil on your lashes for a few seconds before emulsifying.
